Witness- As a witness, you may have seen an accident, witnessed a crime, be asked to describe the character of someone you know, or be directly involved in a trial.
Indite- accuse formally of a crime.
Testify- give testimony in a court of law.
Grand Jury- A jury to inquire into accusations of crime and to evaluate the grounds for indictments.
Due Process- The (law)
Capital Punishment- execution: putting a condemned person to death.
Excessive- beyond normal limits; "excessive charges".
Bail- release after a security has been paid.
First of all, I think criminals deserve to be told of the charges against them so that they know why they are arrested. I also know that criminals deserve to have a speedy trial because the criminal will stay in jail until the criminal dies. A greater chance that peers will be fair. I also know that criminals deserve to have the right to a lawyer because they can have someone on there side. It is also good to have a witness so that the witness talks about the crime seen.
Peer- a person who is of equal standing with another in a group
